God's Indebtedness Debt Ceiling Crisis
God is the creator of heaven and earth and who possesses infinite powers that are unrivalled in universe, however, he finds in a similar situation that from time to time governments find themselves in, a 'Debt Ceiling Crisis' - 'which is a legislative limit of debt the country can assume.
When the nation's budget exceeds that limit it becomes a financial crisis it must either increase the debt to continue to operate or face a"Debt Ceiling' Crisis."
In God's particular case, He is facing an "Indebtedness Debt Ceiling Crisis." God offers His forgiveness and eternal salvation; and in return, those seeking his blessings become 'indebted' to Him. God stores their indebtedness in the heavens. He never has to worry about running out of storage space because He has created an ever-expanding universe, until now.
According to Arch Angel Gabriel, his universe has inexplicably stopped expanding, which means he will soon run out of indebtedness storage space and it's only a matter of time before He won't be able to store any future indebtedness.
And when that happens, he will no longer be able to offer his forgiveness and eternal salvation and sin and wantonness will soon consume the world.
To make matters worse, he further discovers that His universe is in fact shrinking and its only a matter of time before those existing indebted souls already resting in heaven will begin falling back to earth and return to their sinful ways.
God exhausts all of his heavenly resources and decides He has no choice but to seek help from mere mortals to try and solve this unimaginable dilemma of biblical proportion. The clock is ticking and unless he finds a solution, God will become nothing more than a footnote in the annals of time.
Join us and hop on board God's Soul Train for a ride of an eternity, but like all things on earth, He is unaware that even if He solves his present dilemma and greater threat to His Kingdom is waiting in the wings.

“I was fascinated by the idea…I smiled and laughed and thought how I could use this as a teaching tool in my parish, as strange as that may sound, I did, and the results were amazing. It speaks to the healing powers of laughter and joy.”—Fr. C., Anglican Minister, Seattle, WA
“It makes you think about all aspects of life, n.ot just work and money—Kazuki M., Tokyo, Japan
I’m a lifelong Rolling Stones magazine, SNL devoté and this book should be on the New York Times bestseller list and it's a perfect script for a Broadway play.—Charles M., Professional Writer--Indianapolis, IN
“The plot keeps you hanging by your fingernails, and I must admit my patience was wearing thin waiting to discover what problem Fr. Michael wanted to share with God. It’s a page-turner from beginning to end. It has it all From RAP music to Drive-Thru funeral homes, I couldn’t put it down. — Michael M., Software Exec. Pittsburgh, PA
“My initial reaction was more out of curiosity, but once I got into it, I was truly taken by how contextual and relevant it is in today’s society, ethics, morals, and values, or lack thereof. It was a wonderful ride and I'm looking forward to sequels two and three.”— Fr. Michael L. Catholic Priest, NY

“As a religious scholar, my take and work on religion is understandably quite serious and filled with constant introspection, but this book has given me a fresh perspective on life, society, my work, and how important it is to look and the mirror and learn to smile at least once a day.” —Charles M., Ph.D. Cambridge, England
“Humor isn’t an easy thing to write, and writing parodies is much more difficult because it requires not only a broad base of knowledge and experiences but to find a thread that weaves all of that together is an art and science. No wonder Robert didn’t start writing this until he reached the ripe old age of seventy; I’m looking forward to the sequels, and don’t wait until your ninety before you do.” —Patricia T., Ballet & Dance teacher, Houston, TX
“I’m addicted to parodies; if well written, they can offer valuable insights into a specific social issue, organization or individual. It takes a widely experienced individual, who has a gift for blending humor with reality and an intellect that goes well beyond the norm. I give God’s Confession an “A+” in all categories. –Merrick J., Harvard Ph.D. Boston, MA
Funny-I should say, "intellectually funny".. Cuts across all political socio-economic boundaries. It could be made into a play--reminds of the movie, "Oh God!" with George Burns and John Denver. --John K. Episcopal Minister, NYC, NY
Original, should or could be used in seminarian training. It offers a lot of food for thought; effectively bridges past and present generations. I bought my husband a copy, he's a priest. Carol M., Retired LIterature Professor, Palo Alto, CA
